Decision time is almost upon us! You’ve been hearing about it for weeks and weeks thanks to tireless #Bremain and #Brexit campaigning …and here we are.

Whether or not you’ve already made up your mind, this is an important vote. Therefore as Christians, it’s incredibly important that we pray for God’s will to be done for the greatest good of our nation, the European Union, this generation, future generations and for the Government moving forward.

Will you take up the challenge and responsibility of engaging with this crucial vote in an informed way? For those of you who haven’t yet decided, there’s just about enough time to really think carefully about how you may want to vote for the UK to stay or leave the EU.

The immense amount of information out there is overwhelming, but it’s worth doing some of your own constructive research, reading and having courteous discussions with others to help you come to a final decision.

Not sure where to start? CARE have a fantastic page dedicated to helping undecided Christians explore key arguments on both sides of the debate. Certainly one to check out here.

The amazing folks at 7:14 have organised a prayer gathering in Parliament Square, Westminster tomorrow (22 June 2016) – the eve of the big vote – from 7 to 8pm. Come on down and join hundreds of Christians from all backgrounds uniting in prayer for our nation. More information can be found on their event page over on Facebook.

Let’s ask for God’s wisdom and for the Holy Spirit to guide us as we head into polling stations on Thursday.

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:14
